Wondering why the Yellow Bucket got moved?

Also the trail it got moved to is just a mess, goes right through the middle of a logging operation and there is not enough cover.... The trail was closed all year and now its suddenly opened? I'm confused......any locals out there got some insight?

I was on it Saturday and it was good from 1C all the way to just below Job's Pond. I did not cross any logging areas. Did you take the right turn that takes you to 142? I was not on that section.

Well, it was not a right for me from where I was staying, but yes, the trail to 142 is what I am speaking about. Also the Yellow Bucket was moved from the 1C intersection down the trail to that right you are refering to.

Everytime I ride the yellow bucket its wicked bumpy, I drove right by it yesterday.
Got lost on it 2 weeks ago, at the end where it crosses the road. It looked like the trail just ended.
I like billy goat trails but nice one like in east haven and burke.

There was a logging operation in the area that connected the Yellow Bucket Trail to 142 early in the season. Last week the logger contacted the trailmaster and told him to flag it and groom it. That happened on Sat. March 5th.

The trail is a one lane wonder for this year. The plan is to widen it to 8' wide for 2006 and have the Thunder Riders groom it to 142. What happens in the off season is anyone's guess.

The trail is rough for sure, but given the notice recieved and the weird weather this season, it is amazing that the trail is open at all.
