Went Saturday to Woodford, started at Adam's parking lot at 8am, more trucks in the lot at that time then I ever have seen. The trails were smooth and FAST. Probably groomed Thursday night but were holding up real good. Did the normal 7A to 7N north up to Jenks, got gas and headed north to Mt tabor and one of the sleds in our group was leaking coolant. Find out a stud poked through the front heat exchanger on his Polaris XCR. After evaluation, he was towed back to Jenks and we headed back to the trucks via 7S. We were back at the trucks at 1pm and all trails were still holding up pretty good for the amount of traffic out there. For the day - 102 miles.
Sunday went out of North Springfield on the report from Chester's website saying they groomed Sat night. Wherever the sun could do damage it did it, would be perfect for 3 miles and then you would hit a bare batch. You could see the groomer was trying to do the best job he could. Trails were smooth and flat for most part with minimal snirt. Headed towards Ludlow, Trails we hit were 5 - 106 - 12 - 127. Hit the pit and then to Black River for lunch. Heading back to the trucks we were finding how quickly the trails were becoming soft and showing alot of snirt. For the day - 73 miles.
Will post pics later today.
