What has been working better for increasing midrange mileage on them? Different needle, or just drop it one notch?? Also, is there different return springs I can use to decrease the throttle pull? Thanks.

My wifes '03 get's 14 to 15 MPG. I've heard of the exhaust valves getting gummed up, can cause them to stick open, and drop mpg. Usually the biggest problem is the right thumb though! LOL I'm not sure about the needles or fuel screw settings on the '01, but I did adjust 1 I worked on, in about 3/4 of a turn from where it was and it ran alot better, not sure about mpg, the guy had a bad right thumb too!
