BT PRO X 800
Ok we are tired of trying to take the small kids on a sled made for one. Am looking at the new 2006 Polaris 700 2 stroke and the turbo 4 stroke. Also have thought about trying to find a ski doo elite. Does anyone know of anyone who has a elite, saw one last year in Dearby and a 10 year old was drving it. Please give us your feedback. THANKS. BT.

I'll give you my twisted SkiDoo perspective: You can add the 1+1 seat to any standard track length REV which gives you the best of both worlds. If you want a long track then take a look at the GTX. It has all kinds of crazy seat options and you can get up to three on it.

As for as power plant options the 600 SDI has low emissions and great MPG economy but comes at about a $1500 up charge. The 500ss is the “older” series 3 600cc; its low tech, bullet proof and also has great MPG economy.

I think the Elite is a very cool machine but it's a very specialized niche sled with a big price tag. I too would like to have one but I'm not sure I would want a limited production sled like that after a few years (they were only made in this version for 2004/2005). I also can't imagine ever getting the think unstuck.

My only input on the Polaris and Artic Cat touring sleds is they look and feel very luxurious.

This question might be better served if it was in the general forum.

Arctic Man
Get a 2005 Arctic Cat T660 Turbo Touring. I used to have one. It's like ridding a Cadillac on snow. I love it! Quiet, 20 mpg, non turbo 27 mpg, oil change once a year, very reliable, and fast!

I got a 2003 Ski Doo Grand Touring 4 stroke 2 up this year, and I'm completely in love with it. 20 mpg--no oil to purchase, clean, quite, and smoooooth riding. It was a 2003 leftover, so it's brand new, but I got it for only $5900.

Heading north on Weds!

Rev with 1+1 seat is the best by a landslide

Very comfortable

The new GTX is where it is at, and I'm not a huge doo fan. A friend of mine has one and it is a great sled with plenty of power.

polaris is very plush.
I would love to ride the new edge vs the new GTX.
