i had a 03 with the same set up. stock for that year was 480 and 470 i went to 470 and 460 and ran great but i had there clutch kit and v force reeds and air box mod. but i have a friend that runs his o3 800 with 420s but the sled is bone stock. polaris had a update in 03 they change the ecu and rejet to 460s. i just did this to my brothers 03 800 last week but i put 440s in it and it runs great it also is stock i would try 460s do a plug check and if you can try 450s depending on what the plugs look like. if you have a 04 or 05 this update is already done. but if you have 02-03 i would recommend this update.
