Sorry should be Saturday 2/26/2005.

Parked the trailer at the Chester Rec area. Headed 12N towards Ludlow. Nicely groomed but still need more snow cover here to cover up some hazards. Did the 12A loop 2 times cause it was that excellent.

Wife had her new Rev so we were messing with the suspension to her liking. Headed on 127W towards Belmont. Got to the pit and turned around. They have more snow in this area. All the trails were flat, groomed, and for a bonus it was snowing.

Headed back on 12S did the 12A loop again twice. Headed past the trailer at the rec area on 12S but it wasn't groomed and alot of hazards exposed. Turned around after a mile and headed back to trailer.

If you need a change and like curvy woods trail riding then this is a good area to get a decent ride in. Very friendly sledders on the trails and not alot of traffic.

This area just needs to make the trails a little wider and take out some of the sharp bends.

I was in the same general area...

Rode from Tyson south on 7 to Belmont. Then headed to over Ludlow and picked up 12N. We then rode 12N up to Bridgewater and had lunch at Long Trail. There wasn't too much traffic and the trails were in good shape.

I came home on 12N and then picked up 7S. The trails were more whooped up, but again...not too many people.

Hopefully this next storm will extend the season another week or two!
