I don't think you got many replies, because I don't think many people from this board ride there. Don't tell anyone, but riding Chittenden north is one of the best places in the state to ride. I can't tell you first hand, since I'm out for the season, but I've been told my friends that it has been really good except for the usuall high-sun area's and feeders. I would assume by the end of today and tomorrow that those would even be perfect too.

LOL! Thanks guys, Im just bustin' chops with my own replies. I went this past weekned after talking to the local trail master and it was nice. Sorry to hear your out for the season just as it seems to be finally picking up.

I consider myself a team player. Back in '96 I broke my leg on the first ride of the season, and it didn't stop snowing that year until April. This year I broke my kneecap at the end of January, and thats when the snow started....

WOW! Thats tough, missing an 2 seasons! OUCH! I missed 3 weeks this year due to a kidney stone and a collapsed lung (whole lotta fun!), but Im back in the game now!

BTW, how much snow are you expecting ?

thanks

Prime mid-winter conditions and with 2 new PB groomers in the area they are flat and fast!!... But lets keep that our secret. Chittenden should end up with well more than a foot out of this storm.

Like I just said, I'm out for the year, so atleast a foot will fall. It I was healthy, we be begging for 6"....As long as I keep breaking stuff, you guys will have more snow then you can ask for....

Wow PINKM1..... I can't believe you gave any info on your little secret up there!!!
hemihead
Oh No, no, you must be mistaken for sure, theres nothing special there, no, no you see the bridges, constructed during FDR's WPA program, are dilapidated, the so called "trails" are single lane goatpaths, the grooming is done once every other leap year by a chrysler sno-runner, and there is no parking so sleds must be "choppered in" to the area, and oddly enough there is a phenonomal shadow effect that limits the area's snowfall to less than 3 inches/year. No, dont go there, nothing to see, now move along, move along. flag_usa.gif (wink-wink, nod, nod)
