OK...you're coming south on trail 14 into E. Hardwick and you hang a left to head to Greensboro. You hit the railroad tracks. First question...are those dang tracks covered yet or are you still straddling the rails? OK...you head down the tracks for a bit and there is a trail that goes to the right....looks like it heads down a farm's driveway for a bit. This trail seems new...where does it go? From an old trail map it looks like it could just cutoff a down-and-back section of the railroad bed and head toward Walden but I'm not sure. Thanks!

From what I can see tracks are still exposed for the most part, and yes that trail goes towards Walden.

Just did a few miles tonight and the tracks have been groomed and are covered for the most part in Walden and Danville. They still grab your skis a bit, but the groomers seem to have done a nice job covering with the available snow. Everywhere I traveled tonight around Walden, Danville and W. Danville was groomed except up past Coles Pond and the lookout area. I passed the groomer in Walden and for most of the ride I was the first sled on fresh groomed trail............get out early tomorrow boys the trails are looking great!
