Does anybody else here have a model 94 made before 1964? I just found out my gun was made in late 1957. It's worth about $500.00-$600.00.

I guess I'll have to get something else to hunt with and put this one away for safe keeping.

My dad's got one not sure if it's that old or not. I really like that gun though, it's kinda fun too shoot.

Take it to a gunsmith and have them look up the serial number. They can tell you when it was made.

Got one in 32 win special made in 1922, Specially for smokeless powder stamped on the barrel. Have no idea what its worth. If you have a serial # i can look it up.

I've got one. My grandfather bought it right after he got out of the Navy in WWII. Best gun we own, dead on accurate and we've only ever used iron sights. I don't think we've sighted it in 25 years, it's that good.

As for value, I use it every Saturday in November. Because of the history I don't care what someone else values it at, its never being sold.

You should take it to a gunsmith and get it appraised.

A friend of mine collects them. He has one that was made in the late 1800's. Not sure what the exact dates are. He is big into western history and memorbelia.

He also has an old Colt .45 (long)...

Actually, I'll have to check at my parents house the next time I'm in the neighborhood. My dad passed his down to me and he'd had it for quite a while. I leave it up there as that's the only place I hunt. I think his dad used it before him, so I'm not sure when it was made. Love it though. Really accurate and I rarely ever sight it in unless it's on a deer.

Yeah, I have 3 of them that I inherited from my long time neighbor at my parents house.

All 3 before 1950 I'm told.

1 is 32 cal
1 is 35 cal
1 is 30-30

Also got a 1800's double barrell shotgun 20gauge

1910 - 12 gauge Belgium Browning semi automatic

All 5 of these I got from my neighbor are all in mint condition.

I've got one. I won it in a raffle in 1956. Raffle was at the Fremomt Center Fire Department in Fremont Center, NY. Had it cleaned at local gunsmith last year. I'm not a hunter, but I wouldn't part with it. My grandson will own it some day.

I have 1 Made in 1923...Depending on condition there are alot of collectors out there that find them desireable...That .32 for example is worth some bucks if its in excellent condition. Mine is stamped .30 win on the barrel which means its a .30-.30 before they called it that. If you have a pre-64 clean it rag it down oil it up and put it away it is only gonna increase in value.
