The snow has come to the Northeast Kingdom just in time for the 20th Annual Poker Ride sponsored by the Glover Trailwinders Snowmobile Club on Saturday Feb. 12. Trails are the best this season with 12+" of new snow. Start and end at any of the 9 checkpoints. Stops are at: Lake Parker Country Store (W. Glover), Currier's Market (Glover), Candlepin Restaurant (Barton), Mr Bears (Lake Willoughby), Dave's Sled Shop (Irasburg), Bob's Quik Stop (Irasburg), Albany General Store (Albany), Orleans Pizza (Orleans) or Kingdom's Playground (Irasburg). Cost is $5.00 per hand. First prize is $500.00. Other prizes total over a $1,000.00 more. Prizes will be awarded at Kingdom's Playground at 7:00 PM Saturday evening. This is always a fun event, enjoy the riding and at the same time support the Trailwinders.
