What's the consistency of the snow up north? Is it dry and fluffy or wet and slushy?
It's heavy, wet and slushy here in the Concord, NH area. I hear it's going to be warmer this
weekend. Bummer!

New to snowmobiling this year. What is the deal with everyone wanting the wet heavy snow? I can understand that it will pack well but is that it?
Is it better to have 12" or powdery snow or 6" of wet heavy snow?

:beerchug: cold weather is coming and this wet heavy snow will pack hard and has more consistency than just powder that blows around and has no bottom to it:fluffy: :fluffy:

Yeah, what's going on with the Avalon? I heard it's for sale. Place was empty last weekend, and the town was crawling with snowmachines.

We ended up with just over 12" of wet heavy snow at my house in Waitsfield. The trails by the Mad River near my house look awesome and it looks like a bunch of people were out riding last night.
