Heard it on the radio and confirmed it by driving by, the Stowe trails are closed due to lack of snow. There is a Trail Closed sign at the access point to the trail system in the parking lot near The Swimming Hole.

I didn't have a chance to check for signs on the trails south of town, but they looked grassy and muddy on my drive up Route 100 this afternoon.

There is nothing...as I speak it's raining hard and what little snow there was in Stowe is gone.
