:banghead: :banghead: we hit 60 degrees in the sun today in Newark! - dunno.gif what's going on in your area?

It is melting fast here in Waitsfield. I have been afraid to look at a thermometer but did drive by the trails on the way back from lunch and they the ones down by the river are brown.

This really sucks because my 2 week vacation that I have been looking forward to since last summer was supposed to begin in 2 hours. My boss was very cool about letting me push it back by a week and I hope that we get some snow later next week. It doesn't look good at all right now.

It certainly feels 60 degrees here in Chittenden County. Driving home last night on Rt 7 towards Milton, all the exposed trails were grass. A friend has a camp right across from Newark Pond and we planned spending our Feb. snow vacation (week of the 14th) up there. It isn't looking very promising right now. :banghead:

54 right now in the Twin Cities. New Record. veryangry.gif

It sucks big time. We are in the MS SnoRally and that is suppose to take place in 3 weeks. It may be 70 by then - I hope NOT. dunno.gif

hmm...I'm doing this from memory seeing how I don't live up there. I drive thru Lyndonville and head up toward Willoughby, rt "a" something....then take a right on a dirt road that heads up toward the pond. The camp is on the left side on the dirt road directly across from the pond... you can see the pond. And I think the the family has owned it for awhile and uses it seasonally. To get on the trail, we bank a left out their driveway and the trail access is on the left too. I know this is somewhat cryptic and am sure you must know much better than I what I am trying to explain. I have rode from up there quite a bit and really, really enjoy the trails. I hope it works out. Any info is greatly appreciated Weeza! buttrock.gif
