shouldnt pay more than 50 cents on the dollar ,ive totaled a few sea doo xp 800 back in the day and bought them back for next to nothing, insurance companies dont want to bother with off road stuff,it brings nothing at auction. i just missed a deal on an 800 rev for 2500 by minutes, needed about 1500 to fix it!

It all depends on the company, how they do business and what they can and have been getting for them. I've heard of some pretty high buy-outs lately.
It's true most insurance companies don't want to deal with it. That's why they work with salvage companies that take care of it for them. And even more than dealing with it, they hate giving away money. I think the buyouts are rising because there are so many salvage companies doing a good job at getting high $ for them.

When I wrecked my '96 ZRT600 in 2000, the insurance company gave me $2700.00, and the buy back was $500.00. A lot of labor, some wheelin'and dealin'
with salvage yards and the local Bombi dealer got it going again. Sold it and got smart, bought a 700MXZ............
