We are planning a trip for the first week in March. We need an info on the trip from Roberval to Chibougamau. Is Gas an issue? Thanks.

Gas is not an issue. I beleive just before the half way point you will come up to a road crossing, turn left and follow the road to the huge sawmill 66 you can't miss it only place out in the middle of nowhere. You will see some gas pumps on left, usually the ambulance driver will see you and come up and swipe his card and fill you up appx. $1 per liter. I think the sawmill is owned by Donahoe. Good luck and have fun, we did this loop last year and 5 years ago. It was awesome. Go west from Chapais to Miquelon about 90 miles on an abandon rail line 1 road crossing 100 mph be careful of bridges as some have snow on them and others don't.

Also a relais just south of Chiboug, its a great ride, but the rail line is cold and boring.

I don't think we are heading west from Chibougamau. We may head to the north of the Lake, and back to St. Raymond our starting point.
