First off my sled is a 02zr800efi cc

Can somebody go out and check the voltage on the accessory jack and tell me what you get. I bought an electric shield before my last trip to Canada and it did not work very well at 30 below. When I got home I checked the voltage (AC). At idle it is 11.0 volts then drops to around 8.5-9. I checked the wifes firecat and it was the same so I am wondering if I have a bum mutimeter. Strange thing is though she never fogged and I did. I would like to get this figured out before the next trip in a week.

Also my hand warmers never worked they way they should have since new. I have always gotten by but sometimes with frozen hands. I have read where 02zr's had trouble with handwarmer connections but mine are fine and they do warm a little. What is the resistance suppose to be and where should I check it. Thanks

not sure but if you have a TXI helmet with the visor bill it has three screws that hold it in place. the one in the middle can cut the wire running to the other side of the visor. i have seen this twice now. the wire runs too close to the screw and gets pinched.
