I just got back from Calumet, while I was out there I ran out of smokes so I sent the DH up to get some HOT DAMN! He says they were a little over 12 bucks for 2 packs Wow1.gif of generics! I can get a whole carton in MN for just over 20 a carton. I realize it was on Sunday at a grocery but, can you say highway robery? I don't mind paying 2.50 for a gal of gas in the back woods but maybe it's time I think about quitting. I could smoke something a lot better for that price~ :share_doobie:

That's why I now smoke cheap cigars after smoking cigs for about 8 years. I get 12 Miami Suite flavored cigars for under $5 (buy one get one free) which last me about a week to a week and a half. But I don't know too many women that like to smoke cigars so your best bets to quit. It was more of a money thing than a health thing for me. And I uhhhh...........still like to smoke something a little better for the money if you know what I mean. :share_doobie: But we'll keep that a secret from the 15,000 people reading this. :banghead:

^^^^ I'm with you Jimmy the only problem is when I quit smoking I loose HP in the form of added weight. LOL I have quit before and decided to start up again to get my HP back. AAHHH The problems...

I guess you can't win them all. Oh well, you only live once. Honestly damage to lungs is more easily reversable than health problems related to being over weight. They say after so many years of quiting your lungs are back to normal. To get back to normal with a weight problem requires all kinds of effort and excercise, So I'll stick with the smoking myself. Then once I'm too old to enjoy my life anymore, well ok, I'll probably still be smokin.

I BOUGHT ONE OF THE MODULAR HELMETS FROM A DOO DEALERSHIP THAT HAS A FILTER IN THE MASK AND DECIDED THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO SMOKE CIGS WHEN RIDING JUST SO I DON'T HAVE TO SMELL THAT CRAPPY SMELL IN MY FILTER. TO ME, THAT SMELL IS OBSCENE. THINK I'LL COMPLETELY QUIT AND PUT THE SAVED MONEY INTO SLED UPGRADES OR SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES. :augen41:

Pack a day around here adds up to about $150 a month. That'll get some nice sled upgrades! That's why I moved on to the Cigars, money for the sleddin. I'm still addicted to the tobbacco but I have no problem waiting till I'm done riding to smoke a cigar. Only need to smoke my cigars a couple or few times a day, unlike that once an hour at least ciggarette I used to have. Unless ofcourse I'm drinking, then I smoke more.
