BTW derek, how are you liking the 660? im thinkin of gettin a 660 kit for mine because the 600 jugs fit on the 440 block and i figure while im at it might as well go all the way to 660. was it much of a difference? and about how much was it for everything?

I'am in Fairbanks, the 660 kit is the bomb, best money I ever spent. Went riding last weekend with some buddies with short track 600, 700 prox's and my sled out runs them bad to 100, after that they pull away, but I dont care it pulls your arms out to a 100. BTW the kit cost me $1150 and I bought some used cylinders to send in for core for $200 so I would have all my stock motor part in case I decide to go back. But thats sure not going to happen HA.

Do you think he would take 440 pistons for core? im guessin not so i may have to do what you did if i go that route. and do you know if that kit will fit my 440 block? i heard 600 jugs do but id wanna be positive before i spend that much.

Jakson, I beleive the 660 consist of a small block Poo (440-500-600) with 700 cylinders and pistons. I think the 440 bottom end will work you just need the case clearanced for the rods to clear with new pistons/cylinders.

My list of mods: PowderPros, Tempa-flow, 6" riser, Sportech guards, Boss Hi-rise widetop, TracksUSA 136 extensions, Ripsaw track (best single mod I've ever made)

Treatin me pretty good so far, yeah its kind of loud but i like it that way. im thinkin if i left it on for my trip to the UP my ears might be ringing for a while but i took it off for that so i didnt get caught (even tho you occasionally hear a canned sled buzzing around up there). i like it for around here and ditchbangin tho it sounds so sweet. i just wish i could get this thing to run right.

And about gettin my case clearanced for a 660, how much would that run?

hey derek55 how do u like that 136 on ur x2 i gota 600 x2 and i was lookin at doin the 136 to it....my neighbors gota 700 edge x wita 136 and he loves it...fill me in..

I am going to Quebec on Wednesday for a 5 day trip. So I should have some nicer pictures to put up.

I used to hate the "barstool" seat but I love it now...the prox 2 and r is the best lookin polaris on the snow....they are awsome...nice sleds boys.

Hey, I recognize that poster

Where did you get the chassis? I've been looking to do this exact conversion but cant find a 440 roller?

I bought it from a guy, kinda local to me, this past October. The chassis was used by D.J. Ekstrom. It was the mod sled with the 800 twin in it they used in the X-Games.

Sr- what shroud did you use on your sled? How did you attach it. I tried to put one on mine but couldnt get it anywhere close to going on and looking decent...I tried both an edge and pro-x shroud...
