I have never ridden the lower part of VT. Can anyone tell me if there are any places to park and ride from not far from RTE 91. With all the snow in the south I may do some day trips from CT. :banana: :banana:

There are a couple free parking lots right on RT 9 in Woodford. They're on the right hand side just after the Twin Brooks store and about 30-45 minutes from Exit 2 off I91. Better have 4WD for these areas since they don't usually get plowed very well, especially right after a storm. If you park at one of these spots, I'm sure you'll be very surprised at how good the trail system is here but try to avoid Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

You can park right at the Twin Brooks store but I think they charge $5/day.

There's also parking in Wilmington which is a little closer to 91 but I'm not familiar with that area.

YOU CAN DROP IN HOGBACK IN MARLBORO, VT. BIG PARKING LOT ON VAST TRAIL AND ITS FREEE!!!

Park at the twin Brooks for $5. Its worth it. There have been some motor vehicle brake ins at those free lots.

Going up this morning is it worth going to MArlboro? IT is closer than woodford....

Nice trails out of hogback, we were up there yesterday I did not get far sled blew up. But the trails looked great the parking lot was empty and it was free......
