Went riding today & tore my track. :help: It is the left hand side on the outside. Does anyone know of a way to fix this or do i need a new track. Going to call my insurance agent on Monday. See what they say about it.

What is the tear like? is it just the lug torn off to where the rope is in the track or is it an entire hole?

is it just a small tear? if it is to the window or close to it, you should look for a new track, dont take anychances and get stranded out in the middle of nowhere.

Put a new track on it once the cords break there isn't anything you can do and don't add any studs to the outsides, put them all in the middle, try not to spin it and it should be good for 15,000 miles or so. DT

The tear is from the outside to the window. Can see the fiberglass rod. Called the insurance Company. Liberty Mutual. They said it should be covered. going to send adjuster to come & look at it. Cast for a new track 462.00 two hours labor 112.00 so this is a expensive repair. so be careful when riding.
