OK heres the story. I bought a SLP clutch kit for my 99 600 XC and finally got around to putting it in yesterday but when I got the secondary apart I noticed something strange. The helix itself has three rollers in it and there is another helix looking piece that sits in the hub of the clutch. I have never seen or heard of such a thing so I was wondering if any of you know what kind of kit this is. The clutch does say polaris on it but I do know that it is not a TEAM roller clutch. Is this some kind of roller conversion kit or something?

Most likely the roller used in 2001 models and on the 2000 race sleds.---IA S

OK thanks. I just thought it might be a conversion because I can see where the buttons used to be.

I have one that Goodwin performance converted on my 98, uses stock helix's, had for 4 years. If you need rollers Goodwin carries them under the Ski Doo parts. This more than likely what you have.
