Talked to some folks Monday when I was in Quebec on trail 55. They had left from Thetford Mines. Said it was horrible. had to take ATV trails to get across bridges. They may be getting snow soon though. Basically, riding seems to be limited below Saint Lawrence. We were able to take 55 from Bueacville and go to st Phomphile and then up to 35 and go towards Riviere Du Loup. But you can't go north too quickly, or else you run out of snow. I know if you go to Quebec City, you can ride north to Lake St. Jean and have super super riding as long as you want to.
Thats all I know. best of luck.

Well, we are leaving at 3:30 to go to Thetford Mines.
I'll let you know when we get back how it was.
Their website says its good.
Chaudiere Web SiteThe hotel is fairly cheap so it won't be that painfull if the conditions are bad.
Thanks for your input.

Just got back late last night, some trails good some trails need snow badly. Trails in the woods had adequate snow coverage; fields only had a dusting over ice base.
Orange trails right in Thetford Mines are bad, ice and rocks, little snow.
Did loop from 540, 535, orange Clotilde trail all good.
Trail 533 Fair at best, north section is in fields where wind has blown off almost all snow.
Trail 531 was ok.
Good trip, glad I went, but they need more snow before I'll return. If it warms up at all, before they get more snow it's all done.
Stayed at Balmoral, second try and the place is just too noisy. Tons Hockey kids running up and down the halls like herds of elephants. And the beds were like sleeping on plywood. Previous stay had Adults partying all night long. Not going to stay there anymore.
