Hello, I am wondering if there any dealers in central Wi that are good with older EFI sleds. I am having problems with mine and if I can't correct it I want to take it and have it tested with that expensive tester cat has. I don't want to take it somewhere and get nailed with a big bill and not find the problem. I don't want the dealer to fix it, I can do that myself if it turns out to be a bad computer or sensor or something like that. I just want it put on the testor to see if anything comes up bad. I am in the middle of putting in new pistons and rings and boysen reeds. It has 5000 miles on it so the old pistons and rings were pretty bad, I am hoping this fixes the plug fouling problem, I will have to wait and see. Tom

Stay away from Waupaca Tractor. They fixed me good and then would not honor the warrenty. IMO.

I can't recomend a good dealer, but I just want to say change the crank seals while the motor is apart.

I am from Wautoma WI. I go to Country Sports. The place is really good as long as you deal with the right people. As of everything there are good and bad people. But Country Sports definatly knows what's going on. There is also a really good arctic cat tech between wautoma and plainfield. I know him personally. He raced for arctic cat. But anyways if there are any other questions please let me know.

Thanks

P.S Also buy my trucks from Sondalle Ford. That place is great and treats people well.

the guys up at badger implement in Bloomer WI are decent folk. they always give me the straight shit. i know a guy who builds race sleds and works on cats & polari in his spare time. he did all my maintenance but doesnt have a puter. it's my plan once the trails open to ride to bloomer and have them hook up to my efi for a check if there are any trouble codes.
the idle is rough when 1st starting:( i changed out the gas, then found my air box boot had cracked thru. had that changed, but still a little problem. so i was headed to bloomer when trails open,, HOPEFULLY SOME DAY!

I took my stuff to the cat dealer in Mosinee when I lived in WI. Smith Brothers.

There's a good cat dealer right outside of wisconsin dell's, on Hwy 13, just north of the Dell's. My parents live up there and they have told me their buddy takes his sled to that dealer and they do a good job with all the work they have done.

Hi, Update--- I got my sled going again with topend rebuild and the boysen reeds and so far it runs great, totaly different sled. Even at slow speeds the plugs have a nice dark brown color, not all black and oil/fuel soaked like before so I hope the plug fouling is over with. I heard today that South Central Arctic Cat is no more. I know for a fact they are no longer in Ripon and my cousin had heard that the Markesan one is done also, Thats to bad I had also heard they are/were good. i_need_snow.gif :arctic_cat_rules:

Congrats, I hope your sled runs great for you.

Morse in Wisconsin Dells is a pretty good place to go, but over priced by a good amount. I worked in the dells all summer and wanted to orginally buy my sled from there, but i went up to Country Sports and got it for about 400 cheaper there.
