Full Version: Part # for hood screen
I need the polaris part number for the screen/cover that fits above the clutch/airbox side of the hood. Can anybody help me? Thanks
Not sure which screen your talking about but I do know that Polaris doesn't sell them seperately. They sell them as kits
Screen kit (metal screens) ($29.99) part # 2873096-
Hood vents (plastic closeable vents) ($39.99) part #2873762-
After the - in the part number you add the color number. Colors are as follows:
216 Screaming Yellow
246 Racing Red
293 Indy Red
341 Sonic Blue
070 Black
246 Rigel Blue
The metal screens were stock on 01's and they were replaced with plastic closeable hood vents on all Edge models 02 and up. The plastic vent kit will fit your 01.
If you are looking for the screen that fills the opening furthest back on the clutch side your 01 came with nothing in that opening and a block off in 02 and up. Which I have several extra's Yellow, Black, and Red.
If your looking for the next lower one I think I may have a black screen and a Red hood vent, but I would have to check. Which any of the ones I listed you can have just pay the shipping.

You can order just the one part number. I had it and then I lost it. I have seen the kits that you mentioned and all I need is the solid one that covers the upper left side. the same side that the brake is on.
