When I bought my sled I got a Polaris windshield bag, a tank bag and a set of saddle bags for trips. Before I put the windshield bag on I had my wife sew a piece of material along the bottom to orgainize important stuff like my registration papers a small maglite, pencil and a small note book. Everything else just gets lumped in and the bag is awesome I can't believe anybody would ride without one. The tank bag sucks anything in the side pockets seems get in your way the map pocket is to small to hold anything bigger than a postcard. The saddle bags work well but I only use them if I go on a trip on to the grocery store on my sled but I don't think they will work on an X2 seat.

Buy a Polaris windshield bag you won't be disappointed.

Id go w/a windshield bag to...i plan on getting one for my pro-x soon. You be surprised how much can fit in there...

Been riding with a windshield bag for a couple of years now. I always cut down my windshields so that they bairly are larger than the windshield bag. I usually cut about an inch off of an 9" windshield and that bag / winshield line up perfectly.

wingshield bag 100%, you can fit alot of stuff in them..

I know it's not too big, but has anyone used the Powermad belt cover box?

I have the powermadd clutch guard box on my 440. You'd be suprised what you can cram in there. Only downfall is when I raise clutch guard to change belt, box hits the raised area of the belly pan for the front suspension. This doesn't allow the guard to sty up, so you have to kind of hold it up with your shoulder while you change belts.

I had a windshield bag on my 00 700xcsp and loved it. Maps, flashlight, gloves, plugs, smokes, snacks, etc... Everything fit in there. I don't think I can get them on the 440 with the almost non exsistant windshield and cut cowl.

i had a polaris windshield bag on my 03 with the mid height (i do believe that the 02 pro x 600 windshield was taller than the 03 pro x 600 chrome windshield though) and loved it. very nicely padded...put gloves, goggles, maps etc. no problem.

Windshield bag works good but it's too bad that someone didn't come up with a bag to fit in back of the seat in front of the hose cover. Maybe some aftermarket company has something that would work but Polaris figuring it was only a 1 year production they decided against making one. :div20:
