If there was snow I'd be up there spending money like a drunken sailor. I bet the Canadians are loving it though. DT

The no fun factor aside, if it stays like this there will be a major down turn in the entire state's economy. Even places that are not big on sleds will feel the hit. Tax revenue down and everyone pays. Flush.gif

Don't know if anyone has been following what's going on in California:

California's Wild Weather to Continue
(Some content omitted)
LOS ANGELES - California's wild weather is promising to keep residents and visitors in suspense, with forecasters expecting another round of torrential rain and heavy snow across the state.

A 40-mile stretch of California's main north-south highway remained closed early Tuesday after a new storm dumped snow in the mountains, battered roadways and beaches, spattered hail in the Los Angeles area and spawned a waterspout in the Pacific Ocean.

The storms were sparked by an extensive low pressure system that edged down from the Gulf of Alaska and remained parked off the Pacific Northwest coast. The latest front was expected to linger through Tuesday in Southern California before another system moves over the state later this week.

California has been battered in recent days by storms that have caused widespread flooding in some areas, and delivered enough snow to keep skiers content.

About 2 feet of snow fell in the Tejon Pass north of Los Angeles, stranding some drivers and shutting down a section of Interstate 5. It was unclear when it would reopen.

Some Lake Tahoe ski resorts reported as much as 9 feet of snow since late last week. More than 16 feet of snow have fallen near Donner Summit in the northern Sierra since Oct. 1.

Amazing.....what if every rider in the Northeast puts their snow shovels and snowblowers back in storage. Put the AC units back in the windows and throw the golf clubs and a fising pole in the back of the truck.

"Stupid is as stupid does" and I am ready to try anything!!!!
