Higgins usually takes a LONG time to freeze!

It's also alot colder yearround, and not as rough, so I thought it'd be about the same. Im not familiar with it personally, so if you know it takes longer, kewl...

:cn: Higgins Lake is'nt really safe till well twards the end of Jan. Like was posted before it takes a lot longer for it to freeze than Houghton Lake. Ex inlaws have a place on the lake so I'm talking from experience. :div20:

yea, i don't expect it to be completely frozen...i'm hoping the shallow around the ake is frozen enuf to ride around. That's our prefered shortcut to the trail as opposed to ditch banging it to them.
