All the latest trail information for the coming weekend is now on the web site. :div20:

Trail maps are available as of today. ylsuper.gif

Basically all trails south of Back Lake are closed due to lack of snow or ice. Also, the section of trail from Young's Store to the Arctic Cat dealer is closed until we get more snow.

As problems crop up please obey all warning and no snowmobiling signs. :div20:

There are open streams and areas of water on the trail over Deer Mountain (141 & 5). Be very careful. :div20:

The trails are very hard and icy but, still good riding. If you do not have good carbides and studs be very, very careful or you might end up being scraped off a tree. :augen41:

If you are coming for the day, I would recommend that you trailer up to the Magalloway Road or Deer Mountain parking areas to avoid the bumpy trails in the lower elevations.

Merry Christmas. baum3.gif

Thanks for the update Mark,

Do you think it's worth try to connect to the Swift Diamond trails?
Their trails in the elevation are usually prretty good. We'll be up Mon to Thur, just looking for the most trals to ride.

Merry Christmas!

Your best bet would be to head toward Cedar Stream on Corridor 20W or 5S and take the first left on Corridor 5S. That should keep you pretty much in the higher elevations.

Hi guys , I rode today, all north/east of first lake.
Magalloway rd is snowless in about 10% of the road and the rest is 99% ice.
Smith brook still has snow but it's all ice. The trail to maine has / snow ice.

The brooks are flowing at 120%, which has flooded the trail in the low areas, the trail from moose brook to smithbrook camps is flooded with about foot of slushy water in spots, DO NOT ride this trail.

East inlet is ice / snow. The trail to maine/ bosebuck is icey but rideable.

Over all there is still riding BUT it's hard on the sliders cause it's mostly ice now.
Just means no high speed trail riding. You can lose control easy on icey trails.

It is gonna be a great "base" layer, just need some snow to cover it.

Merry Christmas! See you out there!

Wow, the rain did that much damage huh...unreal...this has to be the worst start to the season in 5 years. I just saw a mystery storm is supposed to dump 1-6" Christmas night into Sunday from Cape Cod to Canada...keep your fingers crossed.

Thank you Chris for your report. :div20: I wasn't able to get over that far east today. Roger and Kim were coming for Christmas and I didn't have enough time.

Everyone be careful on the icy trails and pray for a few inches of snow.

I rode somemore today but I must say it wasn't very enjoyable.
Wish I had studded the track on my viper, the trails are as icy as I has ever seen them.
I would bet I'll be replacing my siders real soon.. oh well I was thinking about getting a rage anyhow.

Pray for snow...LOTS OF SNOW

Hey Mark hows the new vector doing?
