I'm not sure if it was the case with this auction, since eBay took the auction down, but several of the scams that I've seen appear to be from scammers who have hijacked legitimate eBay userIDs. The reason I say this is I've seen these obvoius scams under eBay userIDs that have built up a positive feedback rating of 400+ by selling stuff like women's clothing, household items, etc...not many scammers are going to have that kind of feedback. Unfortunately, when a scammer hijacks a userID and lists an item under the hijacked userID, the true owner of that ID gets billed for the listing fee, not the scammer.
