I have the old tool for checking clutch offset but need to check it on my prox which has the team secondary. I know I should have the tool but they are out of stock at the moment. Does anyone know what the distance should be. Also I can't remember if you are supposed to have the secondary clutch against the bolt towards the belly pan or against the bearing when taking this measurement. Thanks

OK but I am just second guessing this because there is a different tool for the sleds with the team clutch. Also should the clutch be against the bearing or bolt when checking this?

Manual says against the washers on the jackshaft bearing.

Should be against the washers against the jackshaft bearing.
It is the same tool as the previous button clutch tools.
The same offset and centre to centre as any of the late model 12.5in poo's.
I have used my old button clutch on my PROX as well as used the tool.
PS make sure the clutch can float a mm or 2 when tightened up, the float should be toward the end of the jackshaft, not the bulkhead.
Also, set your belt deflecion 1st, then do the offset as any significant difference here will put off the clearance.

Your post says 12.5" center distance. My race manual says 11.5". I did use my button tool to set the offset. Thanks Man.
Can anyone clear up the center distance measurement.

My race manual says 11.5".
That is correct.

As a general rule of thumb,
Wedge chassis = 12 in Center to Center, except for the liberty twin motors, they have the 12.5 in C to C
Gen II chassis = 12.5 in C to C
Edge chassis = 11.5 in C to C

Sorry. Bit of Gen 11 brainfart.
Polaris Bob post is accurate.
