I broke my choke lever off yesterday :frech32: , so I get e repair kit today, the issue I am having is that I can't get enough of the slack out of the cable. Or in other words the arm that the lever mounts to is to far away from the dash, I can't get the 1/8" clearance that the book calls for. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts? I matched up the parts and they are identical.

Did you run the adjusters all the way in at the carbs? Did you get the new arm on and still can't get it adjusted or you can't get the new arm on.

I got the new arm on, its the same as the old one, I am thinking that when I get up tommorow I will pull the cables completely off the sledd and see what gives, it has to be something stupid. The adjusters are all the way in.
