I got about 20 ft. in the air, but it wasn't on purpose! Might be a bit of an exaggeration, but I did have to change my clothes afterwards!

On my sled about 15 ft high 40 ft distance it was a blast, On my MX bike about 30 ft 90 ft double :augen41:

I used to skydive. Then when the money tree dryed up I stopped. I still compare everything to that.I figure when I get too old for jumping sleds I'll go back. That should be awhile!! I love jumping so much that if I came across a dead body in the trail I'd hit it if I thought I could get some air!!!LOL! :smilielol:

This was a 125-130 jump probably 15' high but with a really ugly flight pattern. I was doing laps around the lake with a local and he said , try this jump. First lap like 25 mph, nice little kicker so I come around at like 40 mph and again nice smooth kicker, maybe 50-60 ft nice soft landing. So, I figure lets hit it with a little gas so I circle the lake and pinch it, I got the Pro X screamin at the lake shore up the bank, big Gs, I'm thinkin, this is gonna be BIG. All the sudden, 2.5 milliseconds before lift-off, I hit something with the back of the track and I'm skying at 60mph, nose pointing at the ground. Wow1.gif Now I'm thinkin, This is gonna hurt. Anyways, my MX instincts kicked in and I did my best Bubba Stewart Panic Rev. I didn't even know ProXs had rev limiters, well, about 10 feet before I land, the skis just get out in front of my sled and I land it. To the applause of the 15 picnicing snowmobilers. WHEEEEEEWWWWW! I thought I was dead. Come to find out, in the summer this lake shore has a parking lot with wooden guard rails all around it. I hit the top of a guard rail post down 2 feet in the snow and that swhat sent me sailing. I ask my Canadian local tour guide flag_canada.gif , WTF? He says, I didn't think you would hit it that hard. buttrock.gif

This is where I landed, I launched about 20 feet before the guys in the picture, I paced off 44 paces, you do the math.

Here's looking the other way, I landed right between the two further buildings

Couldn't count how far it was..... atleast 100 feet. I was doing a little over 70mph.

My longest jump wasn't on purpose! I was cranking down a powerline about 75-80mph and dropped suddenly onto the surface of a road and hit the plowed snowbank on the other side! I was still holding momentum of 70+mph. I was only about 15ft in the air, but I landed at least 60ft from the road, track side down! - MATT :beer2:
