I was wondering if anyone knew if the Polaris DC voltage outlet (12volt DC adaptor) is what I would need to install for my Polaris heated shield as a plug-in? If not, is there another way of installing a plug-in for convenience? Thanks. :help:

Snowmobiles are 12V AC not DC unless you have electric start. Machines do not come with electric visor plugs because each brand of helmit has a different type of connector.
On Polaris Yellow wire is hot, Brown wire is ground. If you have the female part of the helmit cord[there is normally 2 different cords] let use know as I can explane how to connect it without tools or wire conectors.

Let me know how that shield works hooked up to D/C voltage, because they are designed to work your normal A/C that you use for handwarmers.

I had mine installed at the shop, for 30.00 cdn it was worth having it hooked up the right way. they tapped into some wiring in the harness and I have not had a problem yet.
