Keep this thread alive and keep us posted. I live 35 minutes from the Hill and used to ride there alot. I've been riding Penn Mt. more due to better snow conditions and have an Old Forge Pass, so I've been avoiding the bumps lately. I am up for an early mid December ride though. I have AIM too but never on it so email me at fdpirate24@adelphia.net

dont the trails open like Dec. 2nd? And theres snow by mid dec but its always a crappy ride, groomers are never out to form the base, and to fill in water holes. So Im thinkin something like early-mid Jan? After christmas would be ideal i think. I also have been going up there a lot. For the past 10years almost everyweekend. Does anyone know if Joe from Cedar Pines is grooming at all? when he bought the groomer 2 years ago he tried grooming from his bar to Camp2/4 road but Oceaola shut him down basically by telling him that he isnt grooming. Last year i didnt go up at all and it sorta slipped my mind really. I know he started a club and my uncle joined. I just wanna know if hes grooming and what trails. I dont think he groomed behind the camp ground heading to Florence but ive been outta the loop for a while. also does anyone know if someone bought the sportsman club? I know it was forsale a few years ago but idk if anybody had bought it yet or if they stopped selling it. if they did sell it, are the new owners taking over the grooming and still feeding the deer? i love going there on a nice day and seeing tons of deer

Count me in as well. I am in Saratoga and myself along with many others would hook up with some new guys. I belong to a club around lake George area and there is some awsome riding around here providing we have snow. If you guys have never ridden around here, it might be nice to try out a new area. Check out the big sled map for an idea of the trails. There are tons of hotels around lake George too. I am down for whatever though, so keep me posted.
