Northern Ontario needs your support. All Canadian and USA riders should always consider purchasing their trail passes where they ride the most. A portion of the revenue received goes directly to the club that you buy from. This helps support groomers and maintaining the trails.
Although I live 300 miles from the north, I always buy my trail pass from the north. I even rotate to different clubs to be fair. This year the Shining Tree Snowmobile Club has just received their new groomer and needs help. Please consider helping out. Shining Tree is south of Timmins and north of Sudbury. They groom over 320km of trails. These are some of the nicest trails you will ever ride. Part of OFSC District 14

Please contact Cindy or Brandon at Three Bear Camp and show your support. You can contact them at 1-888-315-4540 or 1-705-263-2057 or www.threebearscamp.com

Hi Utopia,

This is exactly what we started down here in New Hampshire USA about 8 years ago. "Join the clubs where you ride!" ylsuper.gif Don't be a "FreeMobiler!" :frech32:

The simple fact is, the more members a club has, the better the trails! buttrock.gif Wherever you ride join the club. It will ensure that your favorite trails will be there next season. :div20:

I am a member of seven clubs here in NH and I am joining two clubs in Quebec for sure this season, maybe more. If I ride their trails, I join their club. :div20:

Yeah, I got mine via the net fron ASPA. I indicated the St. Joseph Island club. I hope that's who get's credit. People from there as well as Drummond Island MI put in the tree/stake line between our islands. The price is getting out of hand, though, for a retiree. May be the last time for me. We'll see.

Always have done the same!

Of course it is because the A108Q runs north south from Kearns to Belle Vallee. One of my favorites as well

I went by it last year, on the Ontario trail that actually goes into quebec then back out. Is there any way of getting up there on a sled? Or any way at all? Is there any trails that go right to the base of it?

I used to buy all my permits from the large Muskoka Snow Region club but decided to start buying from smaller clubs as they are much smaller with fewer volunteers and less money. For the last few years I have purchased from T.A.T.A. While on their trail sytems last year, rode some pretty nicely groomed trails. Defintely will be back in that area this season. :div20: flag_canada.gif

Good to hear you support our fantastic trails in the north. The Shining Tree Trail Plan club...part of TATA only has approx 300 members. When I joined several years ago it was ONLY 30. It is very hard to pay for a new groomer with so few members.
Your support is much appreciated

Beaver,
I think you are confused with the Abitibi Region of Quebec which includes places like Val D'or and Rouyon Noranda.

Beaver,
I have never crossed over from Kearns to Quebec. What are the trails like. I would love to plan a trip but $200 for a trail pass on top of the Ontario pass is a bit much.

You would think that somehow they could work a deal that if you buy 2 passes ...Ont and Quebec there is a savings some how. I know it is a differnt trail system but it is not that Quebec is another country or something?????

Hi all

It is still early enough to get your permit for $50 less.
Please support us if you ride up here dance_2.gif
The Rainbow Country Snowmobile Association is a co-operative effort between five area clubs, with a total of 1162 kilometers of groomed trails.

They just went through a re-route of the D trail which cost a lot of money.
Here is our clubs website:
http://www.rcsasnow.com/

and here is the pdf form which you can print, fill out and fax to get the permit
before Dec. 01/04

Anyways - Lets hope for a great season and tons of snow :fluffy:
