Today me and my girlfriend took up our 95' summit 670 that we just bought the day before for $900. It ran real well. But when we got to the top of the mountain (about 10,500 ft) we turned the sleds off to eat. When I went back to start it back up it would not turn-over. Then I replaced the plugs and it turned over briefly then died. Well we had to toe it back down to my truck and load it without any power (huge pain in the ass). I just barely got home (4500 ft) and it started just fine. Does anyone know why it did this. Do I need to adjust the jets on it? I think the person we just bought it from road it mainly at around 6500 ft or so. Any suggestion? If it's the jets does anyone know how to adjust them on this particular model. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

What did you do before starting it after it sat for awhile?

Sounds like you flooded the sled IMO

Don't use primer if the sled only sat for 10-15minutes

The primer should only be used when engine is cold

If engine is warm crank with partial throttle :div20:

yOU WILL HAVE TO GET YOUR CARBS SET UP FOR THAT ELAVATION,OR CARRY EXTRA JETS AND DO YOURSELF ON THE TRAIL AS YOU GET HIGHER :div20:

Its a summit so it has the HAC system, so there is no need to jet it to for altitude!! Unless your hac system isnt working right maybe? I would clean the carbs though......clogged jets can burn your pistons by leaning the mix out to much!!
