Hi all you Doo boys ....
I am SERIOUSLY thinking about buying a Ski Doo (MXZ-700 adren)
Is there any major differences between the 02's & the 03's ?
I have been riding a 99 Polaris XC-700-SP for the past 5 seasons (avg 600/yr).
Also how do you think the NEWER Doo will stack up against my old 99 Poo (Ride/Power) ?
Thanks .....

I went from a 98-670mxz to the 02 700 mxz and man what a differance in the ride. The 02 was hands down much better in the ditch and on trail. I loved it.

The 03 MXZ 700 has the SC 10 III while the 00-02 MXZ 700 have the SC 10 II

FREEZER is incorrect, SC10-III came out in 2002, 13" of rear suspension on all MXZ's except the fans.
2002 and 2003 are the same machine (except decals)

I am going (with the $$$$$ & a trailer) to look at a
2002 MXZ-700 Salt Lake City Olympic this morning with only 300 miles.
I'll post a pic later if I bring it home ...

Well DIDN'T buy it.
My friend came along who is Doo fanatic/mechanic and looked
at the skegs and they were pretty worn for a sled with 350 miles.
He said it wasn't worth the $5000 the guy was asking.
Sled itself was OK but also didn't look like I thought a 350 mile sled should.
I went to a snomo show at Rockingham Park in Salem,NH and sat on a
2005 REV 500ss ..... they are asking $6000 for them ....
What do ya think ?
I just make DOO it ... LMAO ....

I think all the 2003 Doo's had the dark faced backlit gauges developed for the first year of the REV as opposed to white faced gauges the 2002 models had. Other than that the hood decals are slightly different and possibly the plastic housing on the bars that hold the throttle and brake assembly are slightly different. Possible that all the 2003 models got the precision skis also. Everything else pretty much the same.

I went to the Rockingham show today, with my kids. 500SS is a great sled, I hope you got the Adrenalin. I wish I had the cash to replace my 2001, I would have to go with the 800 though, my buddies are riding my AS$ to get into a REV.

DooNut ...
YES ....
I am sure my NEW sled is EONS better than my 99 .....
Let me see you ride my 99 with 4100 miles on it on a wooped out section
as fast a I will be able to ride the my NEW REV ..... LMAO .....
Yes I gave away top end (100mph+) BUT my riding is only spent about
10% or LESS riding in that range. My riding in mostly in Central to
Northern NH area.
Which is 60% 35-55mph trails .....
30% abandoned R/R beds, powerlines and closed roads .....
10% Lake or Field high speed runs .....
And also there IS a speed limit up in NH of 45mph ;-)
And YES Sammydogs I got the Adrenaline version
