Does anyone have any good pictures or has anyone already built a tool to take the Team Secondary Clutch apart. I work in a fab shop and I know that I can have one built if I could see one. Just to spen $80.00 for a $10.00 Item.

Any help would be appreciated.

a stanard polaris clutch press works fine on team secondary
xc-mark
I made mine from cheap every day stock.....

4" long piece of 2 1/2" EMT (electrical pipe)
12" long piece of 1/2" threaded rod
1/2 threaded rod coupling
4"x 4" piece of 1/8" plated
and a scrap of 1/2" pipe to located the clutch on the plate ... just stops the clutch from moveing around and lift the clutch off the set screw so your not putting a load on the threads

2- 5" scraps of 3/8" rod for handles

cost about 4.00 at the local hardware store

anyone make their own primary clutch tools? this secondary one looks good, but i need to take the primary aprt, if i can make one it would be better than having the shop do it, and cheaper...this would be for the 03 prox 600 primary...
Thanks TJ

A quick look at the attached picture appears to show that the tool should also hold the primary cover for disassembly/reassembly. Would that be true XC-Mark.

i really can't tell because i've never worked on clutches before so i don't know what the tools look like, just looking to save money by making one instead of either buying an expensive one or having a shop do it...you know what i mean... and i'd rather have one now so next time i have it, it will really save as opposed to always going to a shop...
Thanks TJ

You don't need a special tool to take the cover off the primary. An extra set of hands works fine. I do it by myself as well when no one is around. The only thing you will need is the clutch puller. You do need one on the team secondary though.

so u can change the weights and spring with out any tools? thats nice... clutch pullers aren't very expensive right, or maybe the local shop would let me borow one for a day... Looks like i won't be bringing my sled to the shop to have it done after all...Nickels if you don't mind could you give some directions to do this, either here or u could drop me a pm, thanks tj....
