Well finally finished this project! My son kept pushing the "rider forward" and the "hips above the knees" philosopy. Seeing that I just spring ordered a REV, I could not disagree with the philosophy. So... here is his seat wedge for his machine. The overal rise is around 4 1/2" and we coupled the wedge with a 2" bar riser. Should be a good season for the boy...

Waiting for snow!!!

What did you make it out of and how?? Looks good. Please let us know how you did it. Is it just under the seat or the tank as well? Do you have any pics of you installing it. Step by step??

The wedge goes under the seat and tank. Constructed out of 2" stock with 1/4" alumn for attachement to the tunnel. I forgot to take pictures while I was building it, can take a few next time I take the seat off. Pretty simpy actually, not much weight either.

First take say a 2 X 10 and measue the distance from the rear of the seat to the end of the tank. Add maybe 5 - 6" to this and then cut the board corner to corner. These are your wedge sides. Clean them up with a sander/etc... Then from there, just place in supports for the seat and two attachment points to the tunnel. I used the factory seat bolts and then riveted the front to the tunnel. Almost forgot you will have to remove the tank mount or build around. I removed and then attached to the wedge.
