I picked up my 2001 Mach Z about 3 weeks ago. I finally had the time to go talk to my friend down at the dealers and see what was officialy done modification wise. He explained the following:

-Dynoport Pipes With 3PK Silencer.
-VForce Reeds
-Clutched
-Shaved heads

Now I expected to hear a top speeds in the 120's, but what came from his mouth was about 115. Now I did not ask him, as he had to run off and help a customer. But im guessing, and also hope to god that the only reason he said 115 is because its geared and clutched for trailable power. I figured I would ask opinions, but with a Mach Z with that caliber mods I thought I would see atleast 124. Again I'm sure its just because of the clutching and gearing setup, but figured Id ask other CK3 Mach Z owners.

People forget how hard it is to run in the 120's, unless that machine is setup perfect, not gonna happen!!

Porting, bored carbs and a blue printed chassis..... lots of other things to consider!

I have a 2002 Tech Plus Mach Z with 16000 kilometers on it consistently will run 120's. No mods done to it at all. It's in kilometers but just the past weekend here on Piston Alley here in New Brunswick Canada ran her up to about 195 Km/h.

Why buy just the speedometer when you can get the whole sled for $3500?

In ideal conditions most box stock ones can come pretty close to the 120 mark ... haven't seen many go over that without some "tuning".
blk f1000
stock 99 mach 809 used stock cluting secondary set to 18 lbs 27 44 gearing 880 track 96 studs 3000' 128.7mph. i still have the mach owned since 99 now is totally modded, last run 132.5 2000'. you need the sc 10 rear suspension out of a 99 or 00, there heavier but faster for top speed.
