Looking to drop off at the Ridge Runners club house this season. What are the best routes to get out of Salisbury and head to

- Boonville
-Indian Lake

What are some good loops or routes to take from in this general area? If the SNOW is good, what's the best route to head south of I90 and hit some nice riding without being in the mobs of people on Tug Hill??

also, where are there some good places to stay in the Ohio, Salisbury areas?

THANKS

Thanks Psycho,

Any trails to avoid or ones that are consistantly groomed?

Salisbury and PennMtn trails are great places to ride.
I have never really seen them too beat up.
Usually, when you get up past Alder Creek heading north or east the trails get pretty beat up from the extra traffic and less grooming.

Have you been on www.salisburyridgerunners.com yet?

Hey Psycho long time no talk. Don't think I've talked to you since I moved from West Sand Lake and bought my slice of Heaven up here in the great white north!

pyscho, thanks again for the insight.

luvtoride,

yes I've been on their page. Plan on sending in my membership info soon. Last year I spoke with Donna from the Ridgerunners. She was a lot of help. Very nice lady went way out of her way for me. Can wait to ride their trails. I was looking for more inside information as to good day loops to go on or places with good views to check out. you know any good places to go?

Thanks,

Dolly is a sweetheart she tends the bar in the clubhouse. All the trails there are so sweet that I get 5 year blocks when I renew my membership! :div20:

there is alot of good riding in that area. i havent been able to ride much the last 2 years but the trails are usually decent in slasbairy and penn mtn. I used to prefer penn mtn, they seamed to have the trails groomed more but i think the other clubs have steped up.

From Salisbury to Pine Lake the trails are usually great. From Pine Lake up to Piseco Lake, the trails are touch and go. Some good, some beat to death! Once to Piseco its a descent ride to Speculator than Indian Lake. Check out this guys weather forcast and trail info site from Indian Lake, it has some good stuff.

it will be a good ride, I know it took an entire day for me to ride from newport, to westernville and up to tughill, then down to boonville and back to newport.
