Hello, We are first time snowmobilers, were looking for areas(MI) where we can Camp with a Fifth Wheel, and still be able to take off with the sled. If not, are there any pointers to areas of inexpensive places that 2 people could stay, and take off with a sled. Thanks any info would be great.

Okay, if you are new it's time for some free (hopefully helpful advice).

Also, try some other areas out and find one you really like, then join a club in the area and get involved. In the meantime join the Michigan Snowmobile Association to keep informed.

I may be biased, but it's hard to go wrong with the Eastern U.P. clubs and trails. Especially the Snow Chasers for fun group activites.

Have fun and be safe!

I've seen people camp in the Hotel and truck stop parking lots at I-75 and 4-mile road, between Grayling and Gaylord. The Grayling-Gaylord trails converge their.
