I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any changes to the sled I will have to do before or while changing the track from 1 1/4" to the 1 3/4"?

I was hoping to learn a little about the sled and do it myself after I pick the sled up in week, rather than have the shop do ot for me.

Has anyone also had any experiance with this size track and lug as far as deep snow performance goes? Wll I be OK for a trip or two to Whyoming this year?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Should be a smooth conversion for ya. On thing you might consider if trail ridding hard pack trails is putting on ice scratchers.....other than that should be smooth sailing for ya. Best of luck

Holtz racing for the scratchers, why not just go with a 2"?

My buddy has these scratchers and said they work great to lube up the hyfax! I have an 05 Gade coming with a 1.75 inch track and he said to put the scratchers on and I would be fine for trail riding and should be set for my first ride out west!

2" standard lug with this beast. 144" track. Kind of intimidating looking at it in the garage. Sure it will be fun.
