im wondering if $6,000 is too much to pay for a 03 600 Pro-X. its not used it has been set over since 03
xc-mark
I got a price of 6900 for a left over 2003 prox 700 at the end of last season..... 6 K sound about right...... Sharky in staffard springs CT was selling a leftover for 5850 at the springfield MA snowmobile show... Didnt see the sled to say Ya they have it and its real! so If you have a new one for 6k and it has a warrenty its a good deal!

I picked up a left over 03 700 pro x last year in january with 0 miles, 2 year warrenty and cover for 7 G's. MSRP was 8300 in 02. I'm not sure exactly on the 600's but I'd say its pretty reasonable if its brand new with the 2 year warrenty.
U-Con
I've seen one listed for 6300, it was an auction sled w/ only 81 miles on it. The best way to look at it, is the fun factor worth the price? dunno.gif

Yes I think the price seems high. Try to negotiate with them on the price.

I must have got a good deal on mine then. I paid less then that for mine brand new 2 years ago. smiley-faces7.gif

I think sleds on the east coast have a higher bottom line due to shipping cost......
x2 700
Ya, I think it's a little high to. If that's what their asking shoot lower, being an 03 they don't want to sit on it very much longer. Also, if you do purchase it there were some issues with the seat coming apart at the seam, just something to be aware of. You'll definitely be happy with the ride! Good luck.

Sharky is my buddy, he has about 8 03 Pro Xs , 600-800s some with next to no miles all nice. Call him, he's dealing, Tell him Gary sent you. If you need his number let me know, I don't think I should post it here.

FWIW, I picked up my 03 600 in Feb of 03 for $5700+tax. Polaris did have a $500 instant rebate at the time though.

I got my '04 at the end of last season brand new for 6100.

one thing to maybe consider, are Pro-x's commanding a little higher price now that Poo isn't making them? I think it has become well known that they are a better aggressive sled than the standard edge. wish i would have waited and bought a Pro-x instead of my 02 700 edge.

i started looking around about two months ago at the pro-x leftovers
around here. that price sounds real close to what they are still getting
here in mid-mich. i'm not buying yet though. they are going to have
to drop some more money off of them than that for me to buy. i'll
bet a soon as the "new" pro-x's and smaller c.c. fusions come out
the prices will drop big time. the problem that i find with that is, is
that poo "supposidly"[sp?] held back on bringing the new sleds out
to sell off the old ones. now, they still can't seem to get rid of them all.
i mean, they STILL have '03's left at many dealers. i want a pro-x,
but i'm not paying there prices yet. especially after a bud of mine
picked up a used '04 pro-x2 600 with only 41 miles on it for $5000.
that's with a cover, spare belt, spare set of carbides, and a set of casters.
i'll wait................

I paid $5500 plus tax for a new 03 ProX 700 in the Midwest. This was in May of this year.

$5,999 for a 04 600 ProX2. Brand new two weeks ago
mnpro-x
Like racerdave said, with no pro-x this year dealers are asking more. Saw a new 03' 600 for $6300. Not quite sure why polaris dropped the pro-x, now they abandon a whole segment of riders. Have heard sales numbers were not real good. Now everything is gearing up for the fusion line-up. dunno.gif
RanPRO-X
I paid $5460 for an 03 PRO-X 600 on sept. 26 2003 in Fargo ND. Now that it's another year later i wouldn't pay any more than 5500 no matter where it's at.

Take a ride a little to the east to MN or WI or MI. Just seen a 04 700 pro x2 in WI for $6000. Also seen on amsnow a guy has one there as well and another has a brand new 800 x2. Might be worth a days drive to get a model year newer at the same price or cheaper.
tughillprox2
I just reluctantly paid $8700 for a "new" Pro-x2 800 leftover. I didn't want to buy used and I could only find one dealer in NY that had any pro-x2s.

It is only money, the fusion is not my style and I see way too many f7's and Revs on the trail, I was happy to pay for some identity
