schild27.gif Have you been jetted down at all? If so, depending on "how far" it's been reduced in size(s) may be causing detonation, have you got the ign switch in the "premium"position and running 91 octane or less?, this'll do the same thing your experiencing as will having "air" in your cooling system. Does your coolant bottle leak around the top(cap) ?, if so this signal's a warped/eggshaped mouth on the bottle and needs to be replaced and system completely :bled"of all air possible.

to bleed all of the air out you have to warmup sled after topping off the coolant bottle slightly above the "full cold" line, this will cause the air to expand and rise the level of coolant in bottle, then lift right ski up onto 2 milkcrates to raise rt side of sled and coolant bottle to highest point on sled,(remember air likes high places) while up keep reving up motor to around 3000 rpm's taking care not to engage belt. Hold throttle steady around 22-2700 for approx 2-3 minutes and you'll see air bubbles displacing coolant in the bottle. Use a flashlight to shine through the passage tube on the bottom of the bottle and watch for any bubbles passing thru,if non are found, kill engine and let cool down 1-2 hrs, add to bottle to bring level back up,restart and folow previous procedure, check level after 2 hrs.if necessary add to level ,upon restart keep "eye" on the level at start and level at warm engine; if very little level variance occurs when fully warmed up ( 1/4" or less) just top off the bottle approx 1/4" and go riding you should be all set. If your bottle was leaking at all during any of this procedure(especially if you replaced the bottle) REPLACE CAP IMMEDIATELY! or you'll need a new bottle very shortly. :div20: this would show a weak spring from previously being exposed to "boiling " coolant and won't seal and willkeep refilling with air. c-note

Whats your jetting and have you thought about running the motor cooler with a AUX cooler? the xc m-10 kit may help? if the light doesnt come on when your in powder it maybe running hot adding to your problem. Have you checked your TPS to see if your over the spec? I think 4.0v at WOT is max ....
