I have a 2006 f7 firecat sno pro the only mod i have is a rumble pack, when im cruising and go to get on it i sometimes get a bad hesitation, like the sled wants to shut off but then it picks up and runs normal, i tried with the stock pipe and still had the same issue, it is not all the time, and only when im cruising at 30-40 and go to get on it, it also has done it a few times after running it hard, and i stop for a minute and go to take off fast. Im lost on what to do, im not that good a fixing sleds, but checked what i could. Any help would be appreciated.

My 06 F7 efi did the same thing, i could not figure it out. Somone told me that it has somthing to do with the secondary clutch.

does it seem to be running fat and leave smoke on the snow at idle?

No smoke and it runs great, i cleaned the power valves and changed plugs, checked plug wires, and etc. I was told it was the bushings in my clutch, but im just not sure.

Check your throttle switch at the thumb fliper, I've seen the pin bushing wear and cause this. m2c.gif
Good luck man.

My sled does the same thing runs fine when i get on it and other times it cuts out way bad i havent figured out the cause of it yet but i took the air box off and looked inside and there was some ice and i also found some oil sitting in there... anyone know what would cause that?
