anybody changed the handle bar bushings?does the motor have to come out?how big of a job is it?it just seems to be a little too much movement and it looks like the handle bars move before the skis do. dunno.gif :fluffy:

I think he means steering post bushings. Mine are loose too, not to mention other parts of the steering system. Shit design if you ask me.

stupe is right,i mean the steering post bushings.the bushings are only worth about $5.00 but i can't see how to change the lowers without removing the motor.i can move the handle bars about 1/4" before the ski's move.what is acceptable?

Order the new Polaris ProX bushings. The clearance has been reduced by .015". Makes a hell of a difference. Don't get them from your dealer stock. Make sure they come fresh from the Polaris warehouse.

How could you tell if there "old stock" , I got a reverse kit for my 01xc that was dated from lated 2000! that was in 2002!

Part time, Are you talking about the bushing below the bars with the grease fitting or the one behind the carbs with the plastic insert ??????

both upper and lower have the same part number.just wondering if the motor has to come out to do the ones at the bottom?
