Winnipeg snow. Sure, it's five days away and very unlikely, but at this point I don't care. We need something to look forward to! It's too warm for this time of year. I wanna wake up and see white outside, dammit.
Who feels me?

Would be nice to get rid of this never ending rain, and get into the white stuff! I hate it when it rains in late Oct. or early Nov. In my opinion it's just waisted Precip.

We need it to get colder.
Need everything to freeze up.
Hopefully all the rain we've had contines all winter as snow.

Well it's about time! 10-15cm on the way for Winnipeg, 10cm for Pinawa, 10-15cm for Brandon area. Looks like most of the southern part of the province is gonna get some. (According to the weather network.) (Hope I didn't just jinx anything.)

Just did 80 miles today...left from the 59'er. Went as far as Beausejour through Birds Hill...lotsa snow. Tracks were covered on the way back which was great! No stones...new sled so was paranoid! Bring on the snow.

Well all this freezing rain they're calling for doesn't look good for the Winnipeg area...but the Weather Network has issued a
weather watch for a bunch of southern manitoba....up to 20cm's of snow in
Pinawa's forecast...here's hoping that rain doesn't follow the snow.
edit: nooooooooo.....back to rain. Not good news.

Just got back from Grand Beach/Hillside....did about 85-90 miles on the trails there and to Pine Falls. Not bad, need grooming. Don't take the North Star trail to Pine Falls unless you want your kidneys to explode. The few miles along the dike are unbelievably bad, as it appears the dike is eroding into the creek.
