my sled is going to dynotech saturday morning, we will test the stock pipe and can. the stock pipe and aaen can. aaen pipe ,and stock can. then aaen pipe with aaen can. results will be posted on dynotech. i dont think aaen performance will be very happy with the results. this will be interesting.

Are you going to hook up a power commander to maximize the a/f across the operating range? I would expect a remap to fully take advantage (if there is one) of any significant change to the exhaust, or the results will be meaningless. IMHO. Unless of course, the pipe does as little good as we are expecting, and the computer can compensate. I don't know if these things have an O2 sensor or not...at which point it will not compensate if it doesn't read a significant change in the a/f ratio.

there is not a programmer availible. aaen claims 6 hp just the way it is. the machine has lost power with there pipe not gain 6 hp. dynotech believes it loses 10-12 hp by looking at rpm loss. so that would be a difference of 16 hp.aaen will probably not be happy with the results, but i bet they allready know... i call bullshit.

I agree, it sounds like bullshit. I would get the results, then talk to Aaen. If they backpedal, I would tell them to send you a PCIII and a map and you'll try it again or they can refund your money.

dynotech said there is not a boondocker/programmer availible yet. what is a pc111. i was pretty sure he said that doesnt work too. i wish i could tune this thing when i have it there.

Dynojet Power Commander III. They are bringing out the PC5's this year so maybe they aren't doing a PCIII for the Rush motor and are waiting for the PC5 to debut. I forget that the Rush is a CFI 2+2, not a CFI4, which has a PCIII available through SLP. Honestly, I don't know what the difference is either. This is my first EFI sled.

it can be tuned with a digital wrench,by the dealer. but they want no part of it being it is under warranty still. wondering what it takes to buy the setup the dealer uses for this particular machine. i believe if we could advance the timing and add fuel, we can make power with this pipe when the season is over i am going to have the jugs trail ported and the head done, and new pistons, i will then dyno it again. i bet that will help the warranty isue.lol. there will be over 5000 miles on these pistons by the end of the season.

The PC5 has been available all year. The problem with the Rush is not that it is a 2+2, but rather that it has a different harness than all the IQ's. Dynojet has only released a Power Commander (PC) for the IQ's.

Jeremy, it will be interesting to see your results since you are past break-in.

Good Luck!!

dealers can not do any type of tuning with digital wrench. all we do is check for codes, do reflashes adjust tps, and diagnose problems.

what are they using to advance timing and change fuel on these rushes? cause they deffinately are doing it

Likely only thing changed at the dealer would be through a reflash, the digital wrench can not re-program the timing/fuel map on the ECU or else everyone out there would have one for their race machine instead of buying 4-5 different race ECU's off aftermarket companys at 1000 to 2500 dollars a pop, You can buy them for cats not polaris, if you find one let me know haha.

There is definetly a way to lean the fuel and advance the timing on your rush, guarenteed. PM me if you want to know how.

Has anyone tried the non ethanol chip to lean out ?

There is always a way to tune it differently, but to know if it has a positive or negative affect is putting it on the Dyno and trying every diffrent change one at a time.

i didnt make it up there the owner has some back probeloms and wanted to postpone. i would like to have some sort of programmer availible when i go as well. so that i can make some changes and see the results.
