Going to put an aftermarket engine torque stop in my PROX, havent broke any motor mounts yet but seems like a good plan.

What have you all been using? Brands, types etc?

Thanks
Rouki
Iève installed both the SLP Torque Stop and Engine Push. I will also tighten the stock engine stop. I have yet to run that machine but can only assume it will keep the clutches in line for better performance and belt wear....

I have the slp push mount and the wsa pull mnt for the PTO side. you will need to remove the nuts form the stock mounts to get the bottom bolt in there mount . As long as you have the tools to check clutch's after its not a bad job to do. check offset and distance once your done!
PROX700
Talking of Torque stops, I have a 04 prox2 700. Should the stock hard stop be flush against the motor or leave a slight gap between the rubber pad and the motor like the manual says? I've read somewhere to back it out until the rubber stop hits the motor the tighten the jam nut. Any help would be appreciated. flag_usa.gif

It's a good upgrade on any sled . You should see how much the motor twists when it's on the track dyno, it does the same thing under load when riding . After seeing that, it was one of the first upgrades I did , PTO side torque arm. The motor will pivot on the stock pto push stop. Make sure clutches are aligned after the install. :div20:

its not alot of money do them both! set the stock bumper against the block at rest.... no gap.

Too bad you guys are talking big blocks, on my 600 I used the stock torque blocks (both front and back) from my 440 on my 600.

Sometimes its neccessary to to realign the engine a little when using torque arms.
The factory sets up the engine a little out of line(up to 1/8" air gap on the sec.) so when the load comes on the engine, the engine mounts twist in line. This is why it is also neccessary to have your torque stop set correctly. If you set it too tight, your clutches may not be able to line up under full load.
By using torque arms, you are limiting how much the engine moves on the motor mounts, thus keeping the clutches in better alignment at all loads.
Not sure about the proX, but the SLP torque arm is the way to go on the edge chassis.

SLP sells WSA pto side arm and the mag side I think slp makes.... both are good products!
